COVID SAFETY 

-Guests assume all COVID related risks. WEC assumes no liability.

PRIVACY

-Guest information will not be shared.

-Emails will be added to the WEC newsletter. Guests can safely unsubscribe at will.

WEC Summit: September 23rd-24th 

-All guests must be 21 years or older.

-WEC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

-The event will begin at the time advertised.

-Any or all portions of this event are subject to change.

-No refunds will be given.

-In the event WEC cancels this event, a full refund will be given to all tickets purchases with the exception of Grant Sponsorships. 

-WEC will not be held accountable for the death or injury of any person attending, or for any damages suffered by attendees as a result of any cause whatsoever.


MEDIA CAPTURED AT EVENT 

-MTM and WEC will take pictures and/or record attendees and portions of the summit. 


All such media may be used:

(i) www.wecinc.org (the website) and www.mixedtalkmedia.org (the website); (ii) for broadcast or publication, including, but not limited to, Mixed Talk Media (MTM), Women Empowering Change (WEC), and affiliated media outlets. You consent to your image(s) or recording(s) being published by and for the usage of WEC & MTM. 

-Publication: Women Empowering Change (WEC) and Mixed Talk Media (MTM) will have unrestricted right to use media for any purpose in all media and publication now known or hereafter discovered without compensation. WEC and MTM have the unrestricted right to use selected media for the promotion of the MTM and WEC brand.

Summit Volunteers


Arrival Time will vary based on position. Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to time given.


Please Note: All volunteer duties must be fulfilled before selected incentives are granted.


Volunteer is responsible for any tasks concerning your assigned position.

Participating volunteer releases WEC & MTM from any liability and waives a) any and all demands, claims, and causes of action in law or in equity, related to any defect, deficiency, failure or impairment of utilities or other facilities; b) the conduct, negligence or claims of any attendee; and c) any fire, flood, strike, terrorist attack, weather or other force nature beyond control of WEC or MTM. Volunteers bring in personal property at their own risk.


Indemnification: WEC & MTM reserves the right to cancel or amend rental agreement and these terms and conditions at any time.

WEC & MTM will not be liable to volunteers for any consequential losses (i.e. loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss or damage to data or information) arising out of, or in connection with, the provision of the service of event vending. WEC & MTM will not be held accountable for the death or injury of any person in the office space, or for any damages suffered by volunteer or its invitees as a result of any cause whatsoever. Volunteer shall indemnify and hold WEC & MTM, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any suit or claim arising out of any action or failure to act by the volunteer. WEC & MTM does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to volunteer's property. Volunteer shall be liable for any and all damages or injuries caused by volunteer to attendees, the décor, building’s grounds, landscaping, floors, walls, columns, or any other part of the building.

Summit Vendors


Set-Up Time: 10:00-11:30am; Vendors who arrive after 11:30am will not be permitted to set-up (no refund given). All booths must be ready prior to the start of the event at 12pm.


Break Down Time: Closure of the Event


Please Note:

-One dressed vendor table will be provided. No additional tables can be brought in. Up to 2 Racks are permitted. 

-Vendors are located inside the summit's main ballroom. 

-Vendors are included in the Workshops and CFC Luncheon. Seating is at the vendor's booth.

-All vendors agree to the Terms & Conditions 


Vendor is responsible for any charges concerning your booth. Vendor shall indemnify and hold WEC & MTM, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, sponsors, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any suit or claim arising out of any action or failure to act by the vendor. WEC & MTM does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to vendor's property. Vendor shall be liable for any and all damages caused by vendor to the décor, building’s grounds, landscaping, floors, walls, columns, or any other part of the building, or to the chattels and fixtures of the building or any other person or entity having property at the events building’s premises.
